This is Cornwall -- Nokia and La Blogotheque have today announced that folk trio The Staves will headline the sixth Lumia Live Session at the Hidden Hut, the rustic outdoor café located just outside Portscatho on the Roseland peninsula. The Staves will perform an intimate acoustic performance to a crowd of 150 people. The Staves are Emily, Jessica and Camilla Staveley-Taylor, three sisters from Watford, known for their ethereal harmonies and whimsical lyrics. Following on from their appearance in Mumford & Sons' memorable closing set at Glastonbury this summer, the band will perform material from their latest album Dead & Born & Grown. The Lumia Live Sessions is a tour that sees Nokia and music pioneers La Blogotheque, a team of bloggers and videographers famous for helping to kick-start the careers of scores of musicians globally, team up to showcase hot new UK music talent at a series of free gigs in unusual settings across the UK. Last month, the Lumia Live Sessions, saw band of the moment Kodaline headline the fifth Nokia Lumia Live Session in Dublin. The Staves' gig takes place at 6.30pm on Sunday at The Hidden Hut, Porthcurnick Beach, Rosevine (Nr Portscatho), Truro, TR2 5EW. Past sessions have included folk-rock duo Slow Club performing in the world's oldest surviving music hall in Glasgow, Ghostpoet in a Bristol cemetery, Fenech Soler in boxing ring in Leeds and Lianne La Havas in a Liverpool skatepark.
