TWO young mathematicians have shown themselves to be crack code-breakers. Harry Chantrey, from Draycott, and Oscar Howe, from Glastonbury, were winners of one of the challenges in this year's University of Southampton National Cipher Challenge. The pair were two of the youngest participants in this national competition. The boys are both Year 7 pupils at Wells Cathedral School, and follow the specialist mathematics scheme run by the school for gifted and talented mathematicians. The National...
