TWO air ambulances were called to a crash on the Mendips that left two people badly injured.The incident took place between Nine Barrows Lane, the road out of Priddy, and Plummers Lane, the B3135.The road was closed for seven hours from around 1pm on Monday until 7.45pm.Both casualties were trapped in separate cars which have been identified as a Peugeot and an Audi.Two fire engines from Cheddar and Wells, along with a rescue engine from Glastonbury were mobilised to attend the scene.On arrival...
