A MAN jointly accused of handling a quantity of vehicle batteries stolen from a scrapyard in Glastonbury has been ordered to stand trial. Kestrel Frank O'Connell, aged 35, of Benedict Street, Glastonbury, appeared before Somerset Magistrates at Yeovil. He was charged that on February 22 at J C Thomas Scrapyard, Glastonbury, jointly with Robert Godfrey, he handled stolen goods, namely 13 stolen vehicle batteries worth £173 belonging to Andrew Wear. He pleaded not guilty to the allegation....
