VISITORS to Glastonbury between now and Christmas will find that the town is full of Christmas Spirit.
Following a very successful Frost Fayre which was held recently, the streets are now all well lit with colourful Christmas Trees.
In particular the Parish Church of St John the Baptist has now started its annual Christmas Tree Festival "Shining Branches" and as in previous years now shows off nearly 50 Christmas trees which have been decorated by local organisations which show the great diversity and unity within our community.
The church is open daily for visitors and there will be the usual events of services, concerts as well as refreshments being available.
The festival continues to Christmas Day, but the trees will remain in the Church until the Epiphany on January 6.
